This Product Designer role focuses on designing tools and web creation workflows for the Webflow product. In this role, you will be a key part of our team working to create a seamless user experience. You will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and other designers to create innovative tools that simplify the web design process for users of all levels. From ideation to launch, your work will ensure we are meeting customer needs, innovating workflows, and driving forward Webflow’s mission of democratizing web development.
As a designer, you’ll play a key part in improving the user experience, taking insights from both qualitative and quantitative data, collaborating across teams, and delivering solutions that make the Webflow platform more accessible and easier to use. The ideal candidate is someone who is driven to innovate, has a passion for creating beautiful digital experiences, and has strong communication skills to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You will have the freedom to creatively solve complex problems, advocate for design quality and accessibility, and play a key role in Webflow’s continued success.
Key Responsibilities
Design Strategy: Define and create intuitive and visually stunning design solutions for Webflow’s web creation tools and workflows.
Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to explore complex problem spaces, ensuring that designs meet user needs and align with business goals.
User Research: Regularly engage with users to understand their pain points and incorporate their feedback into product designs.
Design Implementation: Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that clearly communicate interaction design ideas and product requirements to engineers.
Cross-Functional Work: Work across multiple teams to untangle complex dependencies, ensuring seamless design handoffs and implementation.
Innovation: Advocate for new design trends and innovative approaches that will benefit Webflow and its users.
