
Senior Product Designer

We are now looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer (Contract to Hire) to help shape our product strategy and ensure world-class product features.
In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in driving design excellence for both shoppers and merchants. You’ll partner closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and improve product flows. You’ll have the opportunity to iterate on existing Bolt products and help define new opportunity spaces, directly contributing to user acquisition, retention, and overall business growth.
You’ll be expected to work in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment, where data informs design decisions and each experiment is a valuable learning opportunity. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll balance user needs with business objectives, while delivering high-quality and user-centered solutions that align with Bolt’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, marketing, and other teams to solve complex design challenges for shoppers and merchants.
Design and Develop: Take ownership of both existing products and new opportunities, designing intuitive product flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
User Research: Plan, execute, and synthesize user research to inform design decisions and communicate findings to product and engineering teams.
Iterative Design: Work quickly and efficiently to design, prototype, and iterate on design concepts, ensuring fast delivery with high-quality standards.
Design Systems: Contribute to evolving and maintaining a robust design system to ensure consistency across product touchpoints.
Stakeholder Communication: Present design ideas clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders, backing them with data-driven insights and design rationale.
Mentorship: Provide guidance to other designers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages continuous improvement.
